LesBeauxChats Cattery

General information and contact details

We were a hobby cattery in Durbanville, Cape Town, South Africa. We stopped breeding in August 2024. We have a few retired females available to approved homes in 2025.

Available retired adult cats are vet checked, vaccinated and spayed, received standard de-worming & de-fleaing and micro-chipped with GetMeKnown pet identification system before release for a minimal cost (only the last vet check and vaccinations plus spaying procedure).

We prefer to place cats in mostly indoor and cat escape proof/cat outdoor safe outdoor environments for their own protection
on completion of a questionnaire with 38 questions (available on request via email.) We welcome visits after receiving and approval of completed questionnaire.

Please be aware of fraudulent websites for rare breed kittens - check for registered breeders on the three official SA feline organization's websites - CASA, SACC and CFSA. Rare breed kittens are generally rarely available from reputable breeders and usually involve lengthy waiting times: we pace litters, rest mummies well in between litters and do not breed on demand. Fraudsters usually promise to 'send' kittens from remote places with added costs of crates and transport and no home visits are applicable. Kittens are usually immediately 'available' and of several rare breeds. They use stolen pictures and prices are generally to good to be true.

This is an informal, non-commercial website, merely for information purposes. Our photographs are amateur, cell phone pictures and no attempt at a professional presentation.
